Community involvement and giving back have always been integral to the Firewood mission.

Since the beginning, we’ve believed it’s our responsibility to support organizations that champion human dignity. That’s what sparked the creation of Firewood in the Field, our giving-back platform that allows us to directly support organizations through financial contributions, donated marketing time, and volunteer efforts.

EMPLOYEE-NOMINATED CHARITIES

Season of Giving

Each holiday season, our employees are invited to nominate charitable organizations that champion human dignity and align with our values of inclusivity, authenticity, responsibility, and humility, while supporting local communities.

Since 2012, we’ve been fortunate to be able to provide financial assistance to many outstanding charities. Firewood has donated over $300,000 to charitable organizations through its Season of Giving program and other giving events. As we move into 2021, we are presented with an invaluable opportunity to reflect and learn from the lessons of the past year. Our Season of Giving recipients represent a fraction of the incredible people, groups, and organizations who are championing change and shifting the narrative of history. And we are honored to support them.

This year, the following three organizations will receive an initial contribution of $10,000 in addition to continued support throughout 2021, which may include pro bono digital marketing, volunteer work, and ad hoc support.
