Another year and another great show at Search Marketing Expo (SMX) in San Jose. For those who may not be familiar, SMX is a top conference for SEO and SEM professionals. This annual event attracts thousands of marketing practitioners from around the globe and helps them connect with each other and learn about the latest insights in search marketing.

The Firewood team was there in force for a fantastic week of cutting-edge SEM tactics.

At the conference, we were once again honored to share a bit about what we do, discussing how the Firewood team uses AdWords and Google Apps Scripts to help our clients find efficiencies and improved performance through automation.

In the deck we discuss how we’ve used a few tools available to all advertisers to target potential customers on their mobile phones at the ballpark at every regular-season MLB baseball game. Our process also allowed us to customize our ad copy in near real time to events that are happening on the field.
